Flaxseed (Isabgol)

Flaxseeds contain soluble and insoluble fiber, adding bulk to your stool and makes it easy to pass through.

  • At night before sleeping, boil 1 tbsp of flaxseed in a cup of water for at least 2 to 3 minutes.
  • Then drink the whole cup, including the tea and the seeds.

Castor oil

  • Make yourself a cup of ginger tea (either by boiling some fresh, sliced ginger in water, or by adding some powdered ginger to a cup of hot water.
  • Add two teaspoons of castor oil to the tea and drink it.

Black Raisins

Black raisins contains concentrated amounts of fiber and this can help to treat constipation and trigger bowel movements.

  • Soak 20 black raisins in 1 glass water overnight 
  • Drink this in the morning.

Eat Fennel Seeds After Food For Better Digestion

According to Ayurveda, fennel seeds are an excellent digestive herb that can alleviate stomach pain after eating. They can assist in relieving cramping, heartburn, bloating, and gas that can occur after eating by increasing our digestive fire without producing excessive heat in the body. 

If you experience heartburn or any uneasiness after eating, have a go at biting a teaspoon of raw or delicately broiled fennel seeds after dinners to assist with mitigating your stomach.

CCF tea:


  • Take 1 teaspoon of Cumin, coriander, and fennel seeds for every 1 cup of water
  • After boiling the water, simmer the seeds for 5 to 10 minutes
  • Drink and relax
